New from ESYLUX: Presence detector with KNX technology
ESYLUX presence detectors allow room functions to be controlled according to presence and natural light, making for considerable energy savings.

Lighting systems, as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning, are controlled intelligently and cost-effectively thanks to ESYLUX PD presence detectors operating on a demand basis. New to the product range is the PDC 360i/24 KNX, a presence detector with KNX technology and integrated bus coupler.

This apt addition means that ESYLUX now offers a complete range of presence detectors for every building automation application.

The design of the new detector has benefited from both practical experience and years' worth of production expertise.

For example: both the installer and user are advantaged by simple, cost-effective installation and quick configuration, plus the ESYLUX remote control – Mobil- PDi/User – means easy adjustment of temporary settings from the ground without the need for a ladder.

The KNX presence detector can be used in the KNX twisted pair (TP) bus system. Parameters are set via EIB Tool Software (ETS).

Four outputs are available for PDC 360i/24 KNX. Along with two outputs for switching or constant light control, ventilation and shutters/blinds could also be controlled independently from each other.

Temporary adjustments, such as ON/OFF, dimming and 2 scenes, can be made at any time.

The extensive ESYLUX presence detector range comprises wall presence detectors for use as automatic switches with a 180° field of detection and ceiling presence detectors with a 360° field of detection, with ranges of approx. 6 m to 40 m in diameter.

ESYLUX presence detectors are suitable for recessed- or surface-mounted frames for the IP 54 surface mounting.

In large spaces the field of detection can be extended easily and cost-effectively through use of master/slave combinations.
