The Harboe Group attach great importance to the efficient use of resources and environmental responsibility. Investing in the lighting control system was therefore a logical step.
Prior to this investment, the installation firm Aage Langkjaer fitted ammeters in two selected warehouses and measured energy use during a two-week test phase. The result: Lighting was switched on 24 hours a day in one hall; in the other, 23.5 hours.
Two ESYLUX presence sensors (PD-C 360i/24) were installed immediately after the test phase. The period during which lighting was switched on fell to 7 and 6.5 hours respectively.
