Tanzende Türme, Hamburg

Two expressive characters serve as the gateway to the Reeperbahn

During the design phase of the two imposing office towers on the Millerntor in St. Pauli, one of the most popular areas of Hamburg, great importance was placed on a sustainable, energy-efficient building concept.

Part of this concept involved the demand-driven lighting control system from ESYLUX. Across a total surface area of 33,357 m², it adds to the highest level of comfort and energy saving with wall and ceiling motion detections.

  • Staircases, sanitary facilities, corridors: MD 180i/R
  • Underground car park, bike parking places: MD-C360i/24

The Tanzenden Türme have been awarded the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Gold Certificate according to the "LEED for Core & Shell" system. The office ensemble at the beginning of the Reeperbahn scored highly with its innovative and energy-efficient design and careful use of resources.
