Flexible switching of groups​ in reversible offices

The modern world of work increasingly requires spaces to be used in different ways depending on the situation. Device functions and parameters can be adjusted as needed through the flexible switching of groups by APC presence detectors from ESYLUX.

Floating lights​ in communal areas​

Communal areas should enhance quality of life, improve communication and, ideally, unleash creativity. Aesthetic room solutions can help with this. For example, the surface-mounted installation of the new SVENJA ceiling lights makes the luminaires appear to float just below the ceiling.

Example solution: Reversible office

  • Unobtrusive BMS detectors from the COMPACT MINI series provide the APC presence detector with all required information from the groups in the office​
  • The recessed lights from the CELINE-2 series with 4000 K are integrated via the driver set and ensure optimal light quality in the workplace

The three mobile partition walls in the room can be easily set aside, e.g. for large team meetings, and are connected in series to one of the push button inputs​ of the APC. As soon as the final partition wall has been removed, the APC switches over Groups 1 – 3 and controls all the luminaires via the same group (Group 4).​

Example solution: Communal areas​

  • SVENJA ceiling lights with 3000 K and a high proportion of indirect light create a pleasant ambience

Two mobile partition walls separate the room, both of which are connected to one of the push button inputs of the APC. If wall 1 is opened up, the APC switches over Groups​ 2 and 3 to be in the same group (Group 4). If the same happens with wall 2, e.g. for an event, the APC switches over all luminaires in the room to the same group (Group 5).​
